Frequently Asked Questions

I'm new to Reformer Pilates - can beginners join?

Yes — beginners are very welcome 🤍
Our small classes (maximum 4 people) mean we can give plenty of individual guidance. If you're brand new, we recommend starting with a Beginner level class where possible. You can also email us at aneta@formestudiopilates.co.uk to book a 1:1 or 2:1 class more a more personalised approach.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable activewear you can move in.

Grip socks are required on the reformers for hygiene and safety. If you forget yours, we usually have some available to purchase at the studio.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 5 minutes before class so we can get you set up safely.

Because classes are small and structured, late arrivals may not be admitted and the session will be forfeited.

How do I book a class?

All classes are booked online via our booking system. Simply:

  1. Create an account

  2. Choose your class

  3. Book and pay (or use your membership)

If you get stuck, just email us — we’re happy to help.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because we only have 4 reformers, we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

  • Cancel more than 24 hours before → class returned

  • Cancel within 24 hours → session lost

  • No-show → session charged

Do class packs expire?

Yes — packs are valid for the period shown at purchase.

We recommend booking ahead to make the most of your sessions, as extensions are not usually possible. Please speak to us or send an email to discuss individual cases.

Do memberships roll over unused classes?

No — unused classes do not roll over unless your membership specifically states otherwise.

Memberships are designed to encourage regular attendance and routine.

Can I pause or cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership before your next billing date.

If you need a pause due to injury, pregnancy, or exceptional circumstances, please contact us — we’ll always try to help where we can.

I have an injury / I'm pregnant - can I still attend?

Often yes, but please:

  • Inform us before your first class

  • Tell your instructor about any changes

  • Seek medical advice if unsure

For pregnancy, we may recommend suitable classes depending on your stage and experience. Please speak to us or send an email to discuss individual cases - we will do our best to be accommodating!

I'm nervous to start - what if I've never done Pilates before?
